You: Why Dave; why now?
Me: Well, I've a two talented kids; the younger said, 'Stop with the lectures.' Then asked, 'Dad, can I help you set up a blog?' Moments later, Me: 'OK, that's a great idea, thinkin' they might just read it someday.

Supernova Condensate - α's always welcome at the helium party!
Science
OK, He, this Henry is for you. Listen up. Now if the de Broglie wavelength exceeds the distance between the two particles, and this occurs at 2.17K (hey that’s within 1K of temp. in SPACE (burr!). So Superfluid He in Space!
Houston, we’ve got infinite repeater energy…. white light visible to dead people…. opps sorry to spoil the adventure and surprise…. but there’s magic in the vacuum. And you thought you were just on vac ation?
Look up boobie, then watch the movie Brainstorm, Natalie Wood drowned while making it, but you can’t tell … especially the cops!
Now I’ve got to get more clarity on the de Broglie wavelength … is that one atom of He siting away on another wave of He . ..Hee Hee?
You see, you’ve got to make a joke out of everything. Now who will believe you when you cry…. wolvelfs?
Surely, you’re not serious. Don’t call me Shirley.
OK, i’m googling de Broglie wavelength now.
Wikipedia: The de Broglie relations show that the wavelength is inversely proportional to the momentum of a particle and that the frequency is directly proportional to the particle’s kinetic energy. The wavelength of matter is also called de Broglie wavelength. The theory was advanced by Louis de Broglie in 1924 in his PhD thesis[1]; he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1929 for this work, which made him the first person to receive a Nobel Prize on a PhD thesis. SEE STUDY HARD.
The greater the energy, the larger the frequency and the shorter (smaller) the wavelength. Given the relationship between wavelength and frequency, it follows that short wavelengths are more energetic than long wavelengths. The second de Broglie equation relates the frequency of the wave associated to a particle to the total energy of the particle such that (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matter_wave )
where is the frequency and is the total energy. The two equations are often written as
where is momentum, is the reduced Planck’s constant (also known as Dirac’s constant, pronounced “h-bar”), is the wavenumber, and is the angular frequency.
Wow, campers, long wavelength… less energetic…. but a matter wave has power …
