History, Human Affairs

Because I drive a Prius, don’t put stickers on my car although someone in my family I suspect stole my magnetic one: ‘No Bama, or Chelsea’s Mama’, I am forced morally to counter with a prophylactic and ‘safe sticker’ solution: a gray sticker will cover the ‘sinful’ sticker, with ‘OOPS’  in bold letters standing for ‘Oh, Obama’s Past Saving’  or some other remark or aphorism.

This is especially good for practicing catholics who believe ‘confession’  is required for salvation.  Just removing the sticker does not absolve you from the harm you have done in the past.  But safely covering up past emotional emissions is a way to protect your humanity; admitting your mistake and letting the world know you are sorry.

I forgive you … now that’s a start. And whoever returns my sticker will get a reward (in heaven).
