Election Day in Iraq -- Landslide for the U.S. - washingtonpost.com
Human Affairs, Uncommon Sense
Dear Charles,
Thank you for actually giving all us tax-stressed payers a glimmer of hope that we have actually provided an entire nation (dominated by Islam, which I believe is essentially a demonic cult worship of power and domination of others) the reasonable opportunity to look at a secular government that unlike Saudi Arabia will allow other religions, even Judaism to cooexist. Or am I going too far?
Are these people so afraid that we will stop the funding that they will say anything, and vote just to please the Sugar Daddy, Uncle Sam? The sceptic in me survives as I know that they have in no way helped Israel, have not offered any solid repayment to USA, and really are bewildered by the complexity that we call DEMOCRACY … or is it Demo Crazy: As in Show me Sumpthin’ … Haa that’s cool.
Just look at how we have destroyed ourselves with the do gooders on steroids (or derivatives) with 125 percent mortgages to people who couldn’t afford to pay 50 percent loans, and then to leverage them to oblivion.
Our said 24 Trillion $ debt in real estate alone exists because no one thinks that the prices paid for our territory (real estate) measures up to the price.
Is that because we as citizens turned down offers from Arabs and others for properties just at the end of runways, that Flight 800 over NJ was brought down by a shoulder fired missile, but Slick Willy just couldn’t get enough proof and suppressed what was available? Is it because we used to tax properties in MA at 10 percent per year of their value, and people got more and more desperate so sold their souls to little government hand outs that comforted those who would vote the only way — democratic? Is it because we allow sewers on Martha’s Vineyard to leach into the bays and ponds so only cloudy jelly-fish waters exist now… and the only solution is to tax more, so we can buy something else somewhere else? Is that because we allow idiots to build with Termite Candy — soft woods — and then allow them to spray for every bug, weed, and in so doing poison the soil, and the dust blows into our homes, we carry in with our shoes and otherwise contaminate the world thanks to Ortho, Scott, and all the others who carefully craft warnings in the smallest type which WOULD SCARE THE BEJESUS OUT OF ANY THINKING PERSON, WHO ARE VANISHING THANKS TO THE CHEMICAL CONTAMINATION. WHOOPEE…. lets give those GreenLawn guys the Primary Sewage water to fill their tanks… a special gift from the government here in Boca Raton, home of the 1st Anthrax release.
I’m sure happy that Iraqi people are not blowing things up as much. I hope we can focus on the real problems in this country. Strict government regulations, clear and concise… that are enforced … that aren’t just a revolving bureaucracy for the well-connected or super-talented that can figure it out for themselves.
Oh well, my rant is your thanks for your concise compassionate brilliance. May you find the strength to keep strong, brave and true.
