A devious plan to use a school, first as a place to send innocents toward, knowing they probably won’t be allowed in. (I would think that schools would be locked from people off the street entering, even at the UN.)
And not being let in, they then would fire upon the Israelis, knowing that return fire would come and destroy those in harms way. We can only hope that included those Hamas kidnappers.
Returning fire is a defensive act, returning overwhelming fire is a smart defensive act.
