His idea of being a Spiritualist is attractive as it is almost all inclusive. Like the last posting, you cannot compel anyone to be with you; freedom is the essence of spirit, at least for us mortals.
The domination of the Catholic church, then, like the Muslims today are similar, but not equal. The militancy and conspiracy to be superior, to treat others as inferior is not part of the Catholic faith, or any real faith involving spirit or freedom.
The phony attitude that Muslims must be superior shows an arrogance and contradicting insecurity. Really they are that important that they must rule over all men? And what does that really do to the spiritual or freedom realm where god seems to dominate … that after life where his domain is secure? Does who we dominate matter to that domain? If it does, then god is diminished. If it doesn’t then Muslims follow a false prophet. Bingo. Like screaming ‘shut up’, usually doesn’t convince anyone of your sincerity, so Islam demanding a Koran was written by god seems to make god into a scribe. Ah and the right of abrogation… anything I said before, if contradicted is ok… the last statement stands …. and then to publish it in sequence of length of the ‘chapters’. Well, a little inferior as far as the inspiration to the editor/printer.
Oh all this argument is from a website of Andrew Mellon. He also is a big fan of Gert Wilders…. another courageous man who seems to be winning the minds of Hollanders.
Oh, back to Spiritualists: if Muslims are part of the ‘in crowd’, believing they are to deny everyone who does not follow their faith as unworthy, then they are trapped in their own bigotry, self-righteousness, and deserve the wrath of every freedom-loving individual who is forced to defend him/herself in order to survive.
