History, Human Affairs, Theology Islam is the bipolar religion, as exemplified by HAMAS, according to one of the founders’ sons, Mosab Yousef, a christian convert now living under death-threat in San Diego, as seen on a recent Fox News special. On the one hand, it is holy to murder, on the other, we only want peace. It’s hard to be at the same spot simultaneously, so just wait a few moments, and the same person who wants to send you to the oven, will open their arms to … their fellow murderers, or if you submit to a higher tax, and you are not allowed to worship your choice of faiths. Before I get all wiggly about Mosab Yousef’s conversion, there are a lot of christians who use the faith to bash others, especially Jews. You think that’s just a too evil a conspiratorial theory spinning?
Islam’s faith reminds me of Matthew 4:8-10 where the devil promises the world and power if only you worship that promiser. So it seems Muslims think the world was promised to them. Two problems: the promise was from the devil, and anyone who seeks world domination is of the devil. So S. Rushdie’s Satanic Verses still applies. And CAIR still won’t condemn Hezzbohah and Hamas.
Not a lot of uppity women, for all you would-be wife beaters out there, although Dershowitz’s image of the 72 year-old virgin as my reward seems to beg another question: was she a virgin for 72 of her infinite years, or is she just eternally 72 years old and pure? I hesitate going for the latter … so I’ll go for the ladder and climb down from this perchin’ blog.
