Well, I think this puts a finer point on the risks anyone deciding to live in CA takes. The Stanford fault is purple and marked ‘Quaternary’ or ‘age undifferentiated’. Notice how the ‘professionals’ love to use words that obfuscate the understanding of the danger.
I have agreed to only fund Stanford as a CA choice of schools. It is a very challenging program; and others are like the state, maybe great, but the risk of social as well as physical catastrophe is greater than I want to participate in.
