To honor and remember, Holocaust Remembrance Day, that we should never, ever, ever, ever forget that the evil within one can consume millions, if not today billions of people, not ready, willing or deserving, based on their contribution or lack thereof, of dying.
This scan of an actual document my dad retrieved from Dachau, but was only revealed to me after his passing as a gift from my sister. The two holes on the top suggest that this was a form, documenting the activities of the camp, after it was liberated. Many of the victims and survivors were hired or asked to gather what information they could, transcribe it on official stationary before it was removed by the Army command for whatever purpose, presumably the trials of the war criminals. This is conjecture, but my dad speaks of one inmate, a Pole, who spoke several languages. It would seem appropriate that documents to be archived would be translated for news to allies.
This piece, noted as signed by Heinrich Himmler, condemning all prisoners to death because ‘the prisoners in Buchenwald have behaved terribly against the civilian population.’
Today, we hear that the Iranian ‘Hitler’, Akmadinajab is to ‘tattle to the UN’ because the US has threatened to use nuclear force against an enemy who is disregarding their obligations signed agreements of nuclear nonproliferation… and has threatened to wipe out a nation of Jews, Israel.
Israel might still in many eyes to ‘have behaved terribly against the civilian (here Palestinian) population’. The Himmlers of Iran will have them all executed. It seemed to work in WWII, right. Of course, the ‘civilian’ Palestianians have not recognized Israel’s right to exist… like most of yesterday’s Nazis … and ‘civilians’, who saw nothing, smelled nothing burning, and heard nothing, (of course if they did, they too might have ended up in Dachau or Buchenwald.
Can you see what’s coming? ’Those who hate, will destroy’ (Peter Grimes). They will not stop themselves; they will transfer, like they do now conventional arms, and soon nuclear destruction, to Hamas, to Hezzbolah, to the Palestinians, Syria, or even NATO’s Turkey to do the murder of whomever they wish to destroy….
