It is a real mystery how these creatures are able to live without oxygen because until now we thought only bacteria could do this. -

Besides the ‘adventure’ into the science of ‘aliens’ on other planets, the way anaerobic bacteria (don’t need 02) live in your drywall at home is that they can metabolize the O4 in the SO4 (sulfate)… or gypsum.  When we sandwich gypsum between two sheets of paper, we close off the oxygen ‘breathability’, and around AC vents, power plugs, and other openings in the wall surfaces, a section of gypsum is exposed where moisture from dewpoints or leaking or vapor pressure issues.

Well it’s good to know that something will take over when we completely pollute the oceans and seas, especially the locked in Mediterranean.
