I couldn’t resist this as my favorite shape is kind of the equilateral triangle, I slept within 4 of them from about 1977-9, aka the tetrahedron. Then the formula generates the star of David, heh it my name, then kind of a killer Ninja spinner thing, and then a snowflake.
Mathematically, it is continuous but not differentiable - curious, and then Wikipedia had this image as a movie from position 4: 
Now imagine flying into it, it’s perimeter expanding as you approach.
