Can fractals make sense of the quantum world?

There may be a problem with the loosing of information idea; Hawking has repudiated it after Susskind at Stanford theorized that the 3d is layed out on the walls of the event horizon as whatever descends to the singularity … to add on to the singularity (and to think that you didn’t really matter).
But the fractal idea has traction as you diminish into the singularity. Do you keep your ‘fractal identity’ ?
