I am very thankful that the Catholic church is overwhelmingly offended by ‘female health’ perversions. This article does not emphasize the murder component of the late term abortion upon demand upheld by Obama and his minions. I envision countless tragedies by families, especially young families who struggle for economic security, and then face all the struggles of pregnancy, female hormone surges, arguments over priorities and baby furniture and all sorts of things that create husbands to stray from dedication and seemingly limitless patience. I’ve been there and fallen. Imagine that the option to punish the husband was to go get a free abortion was taken. The wife becomes a murderer; the marriage would probably fail. Two productive people in a society become failures to themselves and their society.
Who benefits; no one. The answer is why. Because failure is part of evil’s joy; part of the vortex to reduce hope, joy and meaningfulness. It feeds the beasts of corruption. It feeds the beasts of ‘Fast and Furious’; ‘Stand down for defense of Bengazi’, and for elevating the Muslim Brotherhood, softening our society for failure and defeat.
I am an non practicing Catholic, who converted but was disgusted by priests as pedophiles. I really believe priests should be able to marry, and as deacons in the Catholic church, they are allowed to marry …one time only. Extending that to priests would bring a lot of faithful back. It would reduce pedophilia, because as a dad, you can see how children experiment, have limitless trust in their expression and how they have to be reminded that there are limits (reference my ‘Tool?’ story.) This goes to the argument that priests can be ignorant victims of their own naivete’.
The only near miracle was with a men’s prayer group, where we all held hands in a 20 some circle and vocally each offered a prayer for someone, something. I prayed for my deceased cousin, Ursula, who left 3 children with a fine dad, but alone. She developed pancreatic cancer and died before her 47th birthday. I wanted something to secure the family’s memory. Well a month later I heard she was awarded a $10k prize for a short story she submitted. Although the family did not get the money (which they really didn’t need) they did get the recognition that her mother’s memory is alive.
The movie ‘Juno’ is one of my favorites; and a grand expression of youthful innocence and adult tolerance and love during adversity that needs to be amplified, not attenuated, not decimated like some defeated army of Roman soldiers returning in disgrace to Rome.
