This little bicycle features an idea which has not been able to be utilized based on the storage/weight capacity of batteries, which is to say it would take too much battery weight to make it convenient.
If this is both rechargable and with regenerative braking, it may be a huge success. One other caveat is using supercapacitors as made by Maxwell Corp (MXWL). They might be integrated with Lithium-ion batteries to further keep the storage/weight ratio high enough to make it really fun to use.
This technology could far outgun ‘personal 3 or 4 wheel vehicles’ or those collapsing ones that MIT was working on.
If I had a few million$, I might like to get into this game.
