Heat in space: Galactic Warming, huh? Well maybe not if one of these suckers hits Earth. Could get dicey with molten rock falling from the sky on the friction fit of the rock into the earth as a meteor, or just a walopping blast if a comet. The result could be long term cooling if large enough, and species extinction… sorry Darwin … not needed here.
