Skittles, our F1 Labradoodle (aka Poodldor) has her yellow duck that sweaks when squeezed. She often brings it to us when she is in a playful mood, and we play toss and fetch. Then she will bring it with her and squeak it. Yesterday, I noticed her ‘talking’ to it as she lay on the couch and it was under her front paws. Now she also has a silent bunny, but she ripped the face off the bunny, nothing else, and the nutcracker soldier, well his waist front area has been evicerated and some fill hangs out there. She never really plays with these … its always the duck. I have a movie about retrieving the duck, but many think it’s too embarrassing to me, and therefore the relationship to me seems to have lost some balance. If enough people request, I may post it.
Skittles also has her favorite ‘begging’ word: ‘Casadia’, which is 4 syllables. ‘Bagel’ was also quite plain this morning.
