You: Why Dave; why now?
Me: Well, I've two talented kids; the younger mentioned my stopping with the lectures. Then enthusiastically asked, 'Dad, can I help you set up a blog?' Moments later, Me: 'OK, that's a great idea, thinkin' they might just read it someday.

I’ve heard of this comparison to a bowling ball on a trampoline as the sun in space, and then the momentum of the planets based on their mass ‘attracted’ to the sun, when actually compelled to fall into the sun.
It’s the slowing down of time that has me comparing this to the time I was wholloped in the jaw by ‘Midnight Magic’ a hackney pony. I called it ‘neutrino time’ when I had just enough time to turn my head to the left (and sufficient to decide that was the best way to turn it as had I turned it the other way, my neck would have been broken as I was crossed to the force of the shoed hoof) so as to avoid the full wrath of the intended force. The effect was ‘time slowed down’ as our masses interacted, or as they approached that asymptote of connection. It may well have not been a linear slowing but a geometric one where it slowed the most as it was nearest to my face.
And now to the magic of the dance. As we revolve around one another, we can experience all the excitement of extending time in a kind of ‘gravity-free’ force field. We seem unrestricted by a force imposed upon us (our partner) and then as we get closer time is extended, magically, and perhaps equalized as we get farther away and so there is a zero sum gain.
Anyway, controlling motion, time and space might be a big smile producer. I’d say, find someone and go dance with them to feel sure.
