Frankenstein stories are so enchanting, self-ingraciating and lead to the hubris where science thinks that we are no longer like Icarus, flying too close to the sun, but are in fact more powerful than the sun … so our CO2 is what is heating up the place. To that, ‘Baulderdash’, and from my friend Kermit, ‘Ripitt’.
And then there’s the Frankenstein Christianity… even the Prez in his story of Isra, likes to think that Moses Jewed down Allah from 50 prayers/day to just today’s islam’s 5…. (like to be a fly on the wall in that negociation).
Meanwhile, to my main point. MATTER LASERS, yes BEC, Bose-Einstein Condensates, just proven to exist in July, 1995, where the AP story referred to them as Holy Grail. Whereupon I transferred to this the vindication of Voltaire’s, ‘If there were no god, man would invent one.’ …. to ’ Man would NOT have to invent one, if there were a matter from which a god could be made.’ Now were do we find a lot of this stuff….. in Black Holes, in space… in deep space freezers, and recently in a moon of Saturn to the planet Jupiter (I think in a previous blog, grrrr… to lazy to look back).
I grant this article a god send. There is such a great concentration of knowledge here. I dispute none of it. But we are asking how did the immortality, the genius, the greatest mind DNA get here. Like Mary, perhaps a vaginal visitation by an irracible and persistent agent, like a burning bush, like many of the old stories of mysterious powers. Hey with matter lasers and with the human design of a DNA, of such a sequence to yield the Mozart, the Jesus, the Einstein, the Henson, etc. Maybe just a few are necessary, and they pass themselves around, not a continous process, but like my fav song from Bett Midler … ‘From a Distance’ … etc. etc.
