Time Travel in Flatland
A neat little site about relativity that explains how gravity and time travel would work in 2-dimensional (as opposed to our 3-dimensional) space. It’s a good way to start to try to wrap your mind around relativity.Physics, Science, Uncommon Sense Fuck yeah, even if it is from CalTech. Then I commented to fuckyeahphysics: You know, I misread this as ‘Finland’, then I figgered it out, then I looked again at the fin … not necessarily the Finns or Micky Finns, which adds to the story, chapters but not clarity. Fins are almost 2 dimensional +1 and seem well adapted at propelling objects attached thru 3 space +1, as in fish have fins and go thru 3 space water. Don’t know what to do with that, but thought it kind of neat.
