This is the article that I referred to in the &#8216;Opportunity&#8217; story by C. Glick. You can check my spelling, and that of Editor Henry Beetle Hough.  If you get a copy of his &#8216;Country Editor&#8217; book, catch Mr. Boyd &#8230; that&#8217;s my great granddad, he paid for my dad thru college, but cut him off when he didn&#8217;t get into Harvard Med&#8230;. Yale didn&#8217;t count.

Thought you might like to read a little true newspaper reporting, thanks to the Vineyard Gazette.  You know, Martha&#8217;s Vineyard was neutral in the revolutionary war.  Charity, as in staying alive, begins at home.
